Giprock covers the frame walls upstairs. The heavy tongue and groove floor boards let the floor grow quickly, and serve as the ceiling for downstairs at the same time.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After the floor is in, the dividing wall goes up, and more giprock. Mudding and sanding giprock is not my favorite job, but only if it is done smooth it will look like a uniform surface.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This part is almost finished. Just some trim along the floor and the roof are missing. The shelves are built into the frame wall.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A nice October day gives me the opportunity to built the deck frame. Stringers for the stairs are already attached to it.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

After a few days in my workshop, a new front door replaces the temporary contraption.


 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

A twisted willow stick from Elisabeth's crafts supply  box becomes the door handle.
